So nosefire should have the easy path in, just because of?

CoS still have nothing to do inside the MoF and will be thrown out again.

So Intyala had to work his ass of in seven months to get the chance, but some other guy should just be thrown right in?

Yeah, and had been working for FinDep in seven months before that. He was next in line that whole time.

Nice, you fuck up the department and blame me for it. Way to go!

Precaution, Lonestar.

That is how I survived all those months. Information, small but tight staff and constantly leveling with your colleagues. What caused this rift is, in my opinion, the lack of clear directives. If you knew that you wouldn't have the time to sort things out you could have told us so - we didn't know that you took 5 days off, nor did we know what to say when Flitwick made it seem as if he was suddenly in charge.

People act on instinct. It is unfortunate, but human, to defend yourself when being cornered. I have nothing at all against Yoshi and I would've given him my full support if this appointment had followed the logical, rational way that these things tend to do; discussion, information, consensus within the group.

This is a great post. But it's symptomatic that it comes now, when the fire has already spread. I wish it had come much sooner, before the fire had even started. I know from first hand experience how difficult it can be to patch things up all the time... presidency in eSweden is not a simple task, that's for damn sure.

intyala has the longest running streak of all ministers in the government (i think) so it can't strike anyone as a surprise that some of us wondered what the heck's going on when he was side-stepped by a player who had so far never entered the MoF before.

That's unortodox. If you want to make such decisions, prepare yourself for the shitstorm. I'm not defending the flames and yes, I can understand that you're a bit fed up right now... but making sudden changes to old systems is like pissing in the open, when the wind's blowing in your direction.

I had very good reasons to believe I was in charge.
But that is water under the bridge now.
